[ some superheroes have a city, some of them have the world and a team. they all remain in their lanes for the most part but she cannot deny that she is eternally grateful for kara's assistance when a temporary block put a dampener on her powers. as powerful as she is, she unfortunately is still susceptible to cuts and bruises and there are a few marring her skin, tiny bits of glass easily brushed off her mid-length red leather coat.

[ Kara worries at her lower lip. Concern radiates off her in thick waves, each flash of it longer than the last. She doesn't want to crowd, so after a moment she flops next to Wanda, shoulders brushing lightly. ]
I'm on your side, [ still gentle, ] Just take it easy, okay? We beat the bad guy, we've got time.
[ the answer comes instantly but wanda herself isn't too sure she believes it. but, then again, it is difficult wrapping her head around the fact that anyone wants her on their side. but supergirl is kind – it is why her supporters speak the way they do of her.
